We will not have our scheduled lecture (class meetings) on Thursday March 26 or Tuesday April 7th.
We will have online activities instead: a virtual guest lecture, and an online critique discussion. Details coming soon. Both will have timing flexibility (you don’t have to do them during class time, but you can).
For the virtual guest lecture, rather than getting a local guest lecturer in class, I will ask you to watch a video of a capstone talk by a famous person at a Vis conference. (right now, I have two to choose from).
As these are the days surround Spring break, I thought you might appreciate the flexibility. Of course, if you are doing Vis research for a living, the end of March is the Vis paper deadline, and your focus is likely on that.
