Enrollment and the Waiting List

Update (1/23/2020). All students on the waiting list as of today (1/23/2020) will be (or should have been) invited to enroll.

Visiting and VISP students who had contacted me previously will be (or should have been) invited to enroll.

At this point the class is full. (probably over-full - but we expect some people to drop). We do not expect to be able to enroll any more students.

If you receive an invitation to enroll, please accept it as soon as possible. And make sure to get started with the recommended things on the Getting Started page. If you missed the first day of class, the video is available (link on Canvas).

CS Department Enrollment Management (enrollment@cs.wisc.edu) can help with enrollment issues. I have no control over the waiting list.

We have moved the class to a larger room. Our ability to take more students will be limited by resources for TAs and peer mentors. I expect that most students on the waiting list will be accomodated (as students drop the course).

If you are on the waiting list, I recommend that you act as if you are going to be enrolled: come to class the first day, do the recommended things on the Getting Started page, and not asking the course staff about enrollment. We will send email to people on the waiting list.

If you want to enroll in the class and are not on the waiting list, please put yourself on the waiting list.
